Description
Accomodation Statement

Recreational Respite provides meaningful respite solutions through recreation support: 1:1 and group programs. The services are provided within an individuals' home or in various community settings. Our team works with individuals who have disabilities, including mental health. We support children, youth, adults and older adults. Our team members are an integral part of our team at Recreational Respite.

They possess a unique and skilled ability to respond to individualized needs, interests, strengths and abilities of the individuals we support.

Individuals that come to us from Jays Care are typically very happy individuals with disabilities (in the intellectual, physical, and/or social realm) who enjoy having an adult other than their parents to spend time with doing leisure.

Most often they are children and youth (between years old), meaning the needs are after-school and weekends with the exception of March break and the summer holidays.

We have some athletes who are older (18+) meaning the scheduling needs vary but that is rare.
