    The Angus Reid Group is looking for a motivated and talented Business Development/Marketing Associate to join the team. You are a self-motivated, energetic individual with a natural ability to persuade, negotiate, and sell. The ability to work a flexible schedule and meet changing deadlines with an upbeat and positive attitude is essential to the position.

    In this role, we want a collaborative and energetic individual that can contribute to the business development, sales, and marketing teams, work in a dynamic environment, deliver messaging and services feedback back to the teams and work proactively to drive overall sales performance.

    Responsibilities

    • Develop leads and opportunities through prospecting and outbound activities.
    • Interact with prospects via telephone and email with a high attention to detail.
    • Track all relevant qualification and lead management activity using Salesforce.
    • Quickly learn our offerings, effectively communicate the value proposition and be able to react to objections and competitive questions.
    • Research accounts, identify key players, generate interest, and develop accounts to stimulate opportunities.
    • Support marketing and sales enablement with management of digital environment, including the website, social media channels, content development, events and other duties as required
    • Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify industry trends, customer preferences, and competitor activities to provide valuable insights for informed decision making.

    Requirements

    • 1+ years of successful experience in sales or business development generating leads through cold calling, cold emailing, and email sequencing/automation.
    • Prior sales experience in or familiarity with the Market Research industry considered an asset.
    • Exceptional communication skills, both oral and written, coupled with excellent listening skills and a positive and energetic phone presence.
    • Extremely self-motivated with a diligent work ethic and strong attention to detail.
    • High level of integrity and strong commitment to building a successful company.
    • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
    • Adaptable and enjoys a challenge.
    • Positive, can-do attitude when dealing with changing expectations.
    • Superb time management and organization skills.
    • Adept computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office and other office productivity tools.
    • Experience with Salesforce preferred; any CRM applications considered an asset.
