Responsibilities
- Lead groups XGTG engineers technical artists abstracting tools workflows adopted other Xbox Studios Own help drive internal project showcase technology shared across Xbox Get hands technologies span infrastructure written C# hosted cloud runtime extensions Unreal Engine Build core systems plugins within Unreal Engine enabling artists designers engineers more effective Collaborate content engineering production teams identify pain points create cross-team solutions Engage studios across Xbox provide fixes performance memory developer efficiency issues they might facing Manage up 5 engineers mentor fellow developers promote best practices studio Qualifications
Qualifications
- Bachelor Degree Computer Science related field AND years technical engineering experience coding languages including but not limited C C++ C# Java JavaScript Python OR equivalent experience Experience building supporting game tools systems workflows Managing people Preferred Qualifications
- Highly proficient C++ object-oriented design programming High Quality problem solving abilities Experience working shipping multiple modern hardware platforms Effective communication skills ability work closely high-caliber engineers artists Comfortably works disciplines found games studio Experience Unreal Engine Building game engine tools tool chains
