    What is the opportunity?

    The Wholesale Rating Methodologies (WRM) team within GRM Wholesale Credit is responsible for managing and updating Risk Criteria Papers (RCP). RCPs are used to assign the probability of default to the Bank's non-scored corporate clients. As Associate Director, you will work on RCPs, as well as serve as a resource and subject matter expert for Enterprise Model Risk Management (EMRM), audit and other stakeholders for matters related to RCP.

    As Associate Director, you will also query data and develop tools to improve reporting and portfolio management within GRM Wholesale Credit to support risk rating, credit monitoring and adjudication workflows.

    What will you do?

    • Analyze existing RCP to identify opportunities to improve and simplify RCPs and demonstrate their fit-for-purposes.
    • Manage the development and documentation of RCPs by liaising with industry teams and EMRM.
    • Work with various teams to define business requirements for implementation of RCPs into IT systems.
    • Serve as a key point of contact for EMRM for issues related to criteria papers.
    • Modernize the RCP development and monitoring process to reflect best practices and meet regulatory requirements.
    • Develop tools to assist the adjudication, risk rating, and portfolio management workflows.
    • Drive innovation within GRM Wholesale Credit by participating in or leading projects that would benefit from WRM's technical expertise and access to data.

    What do you need to succeed?

    Must-have

    • Minimum 5 years credit or related experience
    • Graduate degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a quantitative discipline
    • Ability to think critically to understand industry drivers to develop sound recommendations for criteria updates
    • High degree of computer literacy (Excel and SQL)
    • Highly developed modeling and analytical skills
    • Advanced organizational skills including the ability to simultaneously manage and prioritize multiple projects
    • Effective communication skills (written and verbal)

    Nice-to-have

    • Project management experience
    • Knowledge of programming (e.g., Python), business intelligence tools (e.g., Tableau), and data science
    • Strong facilitation skills
