Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Core Processor & Used Parts specialist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will manage the processing, inventory control, preparation of core for shipment, and used parts take-offs. The ideal candidate is a former mechanic or someone with strong mechanical aptitude. Working with the Logistics Manager, you will be responsible for the physical preparation of core (Diesel engines and associated parts) being sent to suppliers, sorting and storing incoming core from customers, and dismantling and assembling parts as needed.
Duties
- Accurately process incoming Core (Used parts) using forklift as needed to sort into storage locations
- Prepare core for shipment by adding necessary used parts to the core, packaging or mounting to frames, organizing and sorting
- Coordinate with Logistics Manager to receive, store, prepare, and ship core
- Remove used parts from units as needed
- Utilize warehouse management tools like Karmak
- Support sales through preparation of core for sale, organize core throughout the various storage locations
Requirements
- Mechanical experience, specifically in heavy-duty or engine applications.
- Strong ability to add and remove parts from heavy-duty engines
- Knowledge of parts such as Engine models, injectors, turbos, Pumps (CAT, Cummins, Detroit, John Deere, International etc.)
- Ability to operate forklifts and basic tools
- Mechanical knowledge combined with data entry skills for accurate record keeping
- Prior experience in shipping & receiving, sourcing, or logistics within a dealership or manufacturing environment is preferred
- Strong communication and independent work ability

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $19.21-$32.89 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 42 per week
