    Description

    Position Summary

    Cambrian College's Testing Centre has an immediate need for a part-time Test Proctor – Clerk General 1, on a 24-hour per week basis.

    Duties and Responsibilities

  • Invigilate, scribe, and oversee test proctors.
  • Ensure supports and services are available to invigilate the testing: scribing/assistive technology/room requirements etc.
  • Liaise with the Testing and Transition Coordinator, the Chair, and external clients.
  • Review student testing accommodation requirements.
  • Liaise with instructors to set up accommodated testing.
  • Meet the confidentiality requirements of students.

    • Qualifications

    Required:

  • Must have a minimum of a three-year postsecondary diploma or degree. (A copy of educational documents must be submitted with application *** education completed outside of Canada, applicants are required to submit a WES or ICAS with their application)
  • Minimum of one-year of relevant work experience with a strong focus on scheduling and customer service.
  • Self-directed individual with the ability to balance multiple tasks with frequent interruptions, keen attention to detail, and excellence in customer service.
  • Effective communication skills, good judgment, the ability to problem solve.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft software such as Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Commitment to working within a team environment.

    • Additional Assets/Preferred:

  • Experience working within a postsecondary environment.
  • Experience working with Clockwork.
  • Experience with test invigilation.
  • Experience working with persons with exceptionalities and various testing accommodation.
