As a Milling Machine Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining our milling equipment to fabricate dental restorations with precision and accuracy.

This role requires a strong understanding of CAD/CAM technology, dental materials, and machining processes to produce high-quality dental prosthetics.


Responsibilities:


  • Operate dental milling machines and CAM software to fabricate dental restorations such as crowns, bridges, and implant abutments.
  • Monitor milling operations to ensure the accurate and efficient fabrication of dental prosthetics and making adjustments as necessary to maintain quality standards.
  • Quality control: Inspect milled restorations for accuracy, surface finish, and dimensional integrity, following established quality control procedures.
  • Maintenance and troubleshooting: Perform routine maintenance on milling machines, including cleaning, lubrication, and tool replacement. Troubleshoot equipment issues and coordinate with technical support for repairs as needed.
  • Operate and maintain Zr sintering furnaces: remove sprues and process greenstate Zr for sintering.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of production activities, including job orders, materials used, machine settings, and quality inspection results.
  • Adherence to safety protocols: Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.
  • Other duties required by management.

Requirements:


  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Proven experience operating milling machines in a manufacturing or dental laboratory setting preferred.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of accuracy and precision.
  • Good mechanical aptitude and problemsolving skills for troubleshooting equipment issues.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fastpaced environment.
  • Knowledge of safety protocols and willingness to adhere to all safety guidelines.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to follow instructions accurately.
  • Flexibility to work occasional overtime or weekend shifts as needed to meet production deadlines.
