    Program Leader :
    Assists with developing fun and engaging programs and activities for kids aged 5-12 years in Out of School Care or in full-day care when school is not in session.
    Provide active supervision of children, and ensures their health, safety, and wellness.
    May participate in the development of individual care plans for participants as needed.
    Encourages and facilitates the participation of individuals in the program by creating a safe and fun atmosphere in which children can interact.
    Maintains appropriate records and statistics and ensures that all required documentation is accurate and complete (e.g., incident reports, daily log sheets, attendances, etc.).
    Adheres to BGCCVI Policies and Procedures, Community Care and Licensing Regulations, and other requirements and general safety standards.
    Ensures that the facility is always safe and clean.
    Other related duties as required.

    Qualifications
    Successful completion of a course or a combination of courses of at least 20 hours duration which include child development, guidance, health and safety or nutrition OR Responsible Adult course - before you start: ()
    Successful completion of Agency screening process, including criminal record check to work with vulnerable population (must be at least 19 years of age)

    Nice to Haves
    Valid First Aid Certificate with CPR-C (or willingness to obtain within first 3 months of employment for full-time employees)
    Class 4 Driver's license would be considered an asset (or willingness to obtain)
