Job Summary

The Soft Count Clerk works within a small team is responsible for collecting, sorting and counting of all paper money and ticket redemptions accumulated from slot machines.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Must be teamwork oriented to ensure the smooth operation of department and daily tasks
Work directly with Surveillance and Security to ensure the protection of Sand Hills Casino slot revenue
Responsible for emptying monies from slot machines
Empty canisters, sorts money, counts money using equipment and bundles money
Tallies daily totals of money and ticket voucher from slot machines
Uses sorting and counting machines
Manages time and speed accordingly to meet all deadlines and timelines
Cleans cash machines and equipment in support of preventative maintenance
Practices Health & Safety guidelines
Performs other duties as necessary

Qualifications and Requirements
To perform this job successfully, an individual must have experience handle money and working in a fast paced environment.

Flexible, team oriented and strong interpersonal skill set accompanied with the ability to work within a small diverse team is necessary.

Physical Requirements

Physically you need to be able to bend, lift, push, move and operate equipment on a day to day basis.

The incumbent must obtain and maintain approval from the Liquor Gaming and Cannabis Authority of Manitoba.

Job Types:
Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Part-time hours: 25 per week

Salary:
From $15.00 per hour
