The Strategic Integration, Policy and Legislation Division (SIPLD) leads a range of complex and high-profile transformational projects including the development of strategic and operational policy and legislation, as well as service design and cross-ministry integration of service frameworks.

It is also responsible for strategic initiatives, research, engagement, legislation, litigation, program development, and policy and procedures that support systemic change.


The Early Years and Inclusion Policy, Communications & Engagement (EYIPCE) Branch incorporates a cross-government approach for programs and services for children and families.

The team provides policy support for child care and early childhood development programs funded and/or administered by the ministry.

It is involved in the long-range development of early years policy and strategic policy initiatives that support early years initiatives and programming.

Policy staff also research and develop innovative approaches for citizen engagement and program delivery.


The Office Manager/Program Coordinator is responsible for a variety of tasks, which include managing the office, coordinating financial activities, maintaining and tracking project monitoring tools, and provide overall program and support to the work unit.


JOB REQUIREMENTS:


Education and Experience:


  • Diploma or Certificate in Office Administration plus 1year relevant* experience gained within the past 5 years OR
  • A combination of education and 2 years relevant* experience gained within the past 5 years maybe considered.
  • Relevant experience must include (gained within the past 5 years):
  • providing administrative support to a group of staff.
- providing financial support services to staff.
