EVALEX Contracting Corporation is a reputable company specializing in drywall installation and steel framing. We are now hiring a competent and experiencedTAPER to help us keep growing.
Responsibilities
- Applies paper tape over joint and seal joint using appropriate tools.
- Sands compound after drying.
- Repairs cracks and holes due to workplace damage.
- Installs metal molding to corners and curved openings and finishes to a smooth surface.
- Able to supervise/guide other crew members
Requirements:
- Understanding industry standards, trends and products related to drywall
- Minimum two (2) years of experience
- Reliable transportation. The company can also provide it if needed
- Ability to safely lift, carry and install drywall and related products
- Oral and written English communication skills
- Ability to kneel, bend, stand, stoop and stretch
- Ability to work at heights
- Ability to set and meet deadlines
- Hard working, detail oriented
