Preparing and cooking food:
Cooks must be skilled in using a variety of cooking techniques to prepare dishes according to recipes or instructions.
This may involve chopping, grilling, baking, frying, sautéing, and other methods.Cleaning and maintaining the kitchen:
Cooks are responsible for keeping the kitchen clean and organized, following food safety guidelines, and ensuring that equipment is properly maintained.
Cooks may interact with customers, taking orders, answering questions, and providing recommendations.Following health and safety guidelines:
Cooks must follow health and safety guidelines to ensure that food is prepared safely and prevent foodborne illnesses. Food handling certification is asset
Job Type:
Part-time
Part-time hours: 20-30 per week
Schedule:
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Night shift
- On call
- Weekends as needed
Supplemental pay types:

Ability to commute/relocate:
- Toronto, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Experience:
- Cooking: 1 year (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- Food Safe, SafeCheck, Food Handler or equivalent (preferred)
