Our team's local, friendly approach sets us apart. We are looking for motivated and experienced Shop Heavy Equipment Technicians and Shop Automotive Technicians to join our growing team.

    Position Summary


    The Heavy Equipment/Automotive Technician works with the Shop Manager to diagnose, repair, and maintain heavy equipment, ensuring optimal performance for our customers.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Complete quality repairs and maintenance on a wide variety of equipment.
    • Perform preventative maintenance services as set out by our checklists and identify possible failures before they cause downtime.
    • Conduct equipment diagnostics and communicate findings with customers and management.
    • Maintain a professional, clean, and organized work environment at all times.
    • Follow all company safety policies and practices.
    • Complete additional tasks related to the position as needed.

    Qualifications

    • Good communication skills and a positive attitude.
    • 3rd, 4th, or Journeyman H.E.T technicians only will be considered.
    • Journeyman Automotive Technicians only will be considered.
    • 5 years minimum construction equipment experience.
    • Must have a complete set of hand and air tools; specialty diagnostic equipment and large tools will be supplied.
    • Physically fit and able to meet the demands of heavy equipment field repairs.
    • Dealership experience and training considered an asset.
    • Proficient in equipment, hydraulic, and electrical diagnostics.
    • Able to read and apply electrical and hydraulic schematics for diagnostics.
    • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
    • Excellent organizational and time‑management skills.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
