Westburne is currently looking for a
Pricing Analyst to be based out of our Montreal, QC location
.
The Pricing Analyst is responsible for creating predictive and proactive analytical data to be used for sales strategies. Analyze internal cost support contract needs. Reconcile internal and external complaints and help the division improve its internal processes. The Pricing Analyst reports to the Pricing Manager. He/She is responsible for analyzing and improving internal processes related to all sales and pricing initiatives.

How you will thrive with

You will manage the cost file for wires and cables and communicate with buyers and the specialist to ensure that costs and selling prices are up to date and in line with market prices.
You will review requests for cost support contracts. Consolidate and manage internal monthly reimbursement requests. Analyze all discrepancies and communicate the monthly analysis related to cost overruns to our finance department.
You will format and communicate all external claims to vendors through the EDI system. Review and approve claim deductions monthly.
You will maintain our client's sales group and ensure pricing is aligned within a hierarchy.
You will run and analyze divisional reports, on a specific schedule and frequency. Communicates reports to different departments and provides explanations as needed.
You will maintain and develop existing tools to improve efficiency and ensure continuous communication with the AS400.
You will assist specialists in identifying supplier crossreferences and ensuring that cost changes are made in a timely manner.

- you will review dashboards on BI Sales & Pricing to help the team modify or create new dashboards as needed to help us with day-to-day tasks.

You will execute strategies, actions and provides data identified by the management team.
You will deliver creative and continuous improvement in sales growth through different analyzes and reports.

Who are you?

University degree or bachelor's degree in business administration and/or statistics.
35 years of related experience
Advanced Access and Excel and good skills in other Microsoft products.
Success story using mathematical models to solve business problems.
Experience with AS/400, BI reporting, business analysis and/or product knowledge an asset
Ability to draft reports and correspondence with management. Ability to speak effectively with management
