Alternative & Plan "B" Eyewear are looking for an individual to fill the position of Accounts Receivable Specialist.

Situated South of the 401 in Ajax, this unique, well established Canadian Company offers competitive pay, benefits and bonuses.

A great opportunity in Durham that will allow you to avoid Toronto traffic. Working from home sometimes is an option.

This job offers a fast paced work environment where the individual will be responsible for the following:

Bank Reconciliation
Monthly Statements to customers
New account opening in QuickBooks
Buying group consolidations (United billing headquarters for multiple optical stores)
Accounts receivable
Collections
Any billing issues that may arise with customers' accounts
Key Account Management (Corporate Level accounts)
Strong QuickBooks skills and demonstrated experience
Exceptional knowledge of excel
Customer service skills for resolving any billing or payment issues
A strong and demonstrated knowledge of accounting
Bi lingual in French would be an asset, but not a requirement.
Detail oriented
Excellent communication skills with customers & fellow employee's
Strong Organization skills
Able to be focused, and work independently
