The Common is looking for a Pantry Chef to join our team at our Stratford, ON location.


Pantry Chef Responsibilities:

• Prepare all food items as directed in a sanitary and timely manner
• Ensure proper portioning, temperature, and presentation of all food items
• Follow recipes and standard food safety procedures
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Ensure all food items are stored properly and efficiently in the pantry
• Assist with cleaning the kitchen when necessary
• Perform other tasks as assigned by the kitchen manager or head Chef
• Assist with other duties as needed by the restaurant

Required Skills:

• Ability to work under pressure, maintain composure in a fastpaced environment, and learn quickly
• Excellent communication skills (written and oral)

We are looking for someone who can help us run our kitchen efficiently. We are a small family run restaurant with 1+ years of experience.

We are looking for someone who is detail oriented, has great time management skills, is able to follow instructions, have great organizational skills, be able to work as part of a team.

We have an amazing staff that works hard together. We are looking for staff that can take over some of our responsibilities.


Job Type:
Part-time

Part-time hours: 25-30 per week


Salary:
$15.50-$22.77 per hour
