Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) | Part-Time (0.50 FTE)
Division-Wide Position | Start Immediately
Lakeland Catholic School Division is currently seeking a skilled and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) to join our division in a 0.50 FTE capacity.
This position supports students across all Lakeland Catholic schools, working collaboratively with school-based teams to enhance communication development within a faith-based educational environment.
The successful candidate will work under the supervision of a registered Speech-Language Pathologist and will travel between school sites as required.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver direct speech and language programming to students as outlined by the supervising Speech-Language Pathologist
Support students individually or in small groups across multiple school sites
Track student progress and maintain documentation
Prepare therapy materials and assist with scheduling
Communicate effectively with school staff and parents, as appropriate

Qualifications:
Completion of a recognized Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) diploma; or,
ECE Level 2 or 3 Certification (Level 3 preferred) with relevant experience.
Experience working with school-aged children or youth in clinical or educational settings.
Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
Ability to travel between schools within the division (valid driver's license and vehicle required).
Assets:
Experience working in a Catholic or faith-based school environment.
Familiarity with complex communication needs and Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) systems.
First Aid/CPR certification.
