EXECUTIVE
CHEF - ANCORA WATERFRONT DINING AND PATIO
Ancora Waterfront Dining & Patio is recoginzed
as one of the finest dining experiences in Vancouver, specializing in
innovative seafood with Peruvian and Japanese influences. We are looking for an
experienced Executive Chef.
The Executive Chef role includes (but is not limited
to) the following:
- Must be able to lead and manage a large kitchen
- Supervise souschefs, specialty chefs and cooks
- Ensure food meets quality standards
- Prepare and cook food on regular basis, or for
- Responsible for food requirements and food cost
- Responsible for inventory counts and reports
- Create and write recipes and plan menus
- Control food production to achieve maximum
- Monitor, control, and enforce cleaning of all
- Maintain excellent communications between front
- Recruit, hire and train staff
- Maintain dedicated and motivated staff
- Have a passion for food and service
benefits package will be provided after 6 months.

- Job Requirements/Qualifications:
- At least 2 to 3 years previous experience as a chef/cook in a supervisory role is required
Clear conversational English language ability is required.
- Salary/Wage: $65,000 to $70,000 per year
