The Maintenance Supervisor will:

  • Maintain the Museum's facilities, related building systems, equipment, and tools. Identify and complete required repairs.
  • Perform routine checks on building infrastructure (i.e., sprinkler and alarm system, fire inspections, etc.) and identify short
- to mid-term repair and maintenance needs.
  • Oversee the implementation of, and participate in, a full range of custodial and housekeeping services in all Museum areas.
  • Use and maintain Museum Operating Collection including steam equipment.
  • Maintain the safety and integrity of the Operating Collection during usage and supervise volunteers when operating including monitoring their work for quality, safety and policy compliance.
  • Provide excellent customer service to Museum patrons, volunteers, clients and coworkers.
  • Assist other staff and departments as needed.
  • Always be visible, professional, helpful and proactive.
The work schedule is 72 hours per 2-week pay period.
