Who We Are

Sidekick Brewing is located on the traditional, ancestral, and unceded territory of the Coast Salish People, including the Stó:lō Nation.

This role comes with opportunities for further role development as Sidekick and its marketing needs grow.

What You'll Do

The
Social Media Marketing Specialist will be working alongside the ownership and management teams to ensure the voice of Sidekick is cohesive and aligned with our brand and generate photographic and video content—particularly as we evolve and clarify who we are in our first year of operation.

This includes, but is not limited to the following responsibilities:

Generate, design and implement social media marketing strategies to align with business goals
Set engagement objectives and report on progress
Generate, edit, schedule, publish and share engaging content (e.g. original text, photos, videos/reels)
Generate and edit any graphics associated with digital media content
Coordinate visuals from outside collaborations (e.g. gathering photos from musicians, images from collaborating organizations)
Coordinate social media collabs (e.g. tagging, cross posts, contest, fundraisers)
Collaborate with Sidekick managers to ensure content is up to date, accurate, and fresh (e.g. beer releases, menu changes, onsite events)
Engage and communicate with followers and respond to queries in a timely, positive manner
Oversee social media account design (e.g. Facebook timeline cover, profile pictures, etc.)
Suggest, implement and manage new features to develop brand awareness, like promotions and competitions
Other social media related tasks that support Sidekick's marketing presence

Job Type:
Contract with potential to become permanent

This is a 3-month contract position of 25 hours per week with potential to become a permanent Sidekick employee. Sidekick Brewing offers a wage range of
$20-25/hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
