Salon Centre Canada is a leading distribution centre based in Winnipeg for professional salon and spas servicing all of Manitoba, Saskatchewan and parts of Ontario.

We are currently hiring for the position of Event, Education and Marketing coordinator.

• Team player
• Ability to Multitask and prioritize projects
• Detail oriented
• Extremely organized with advance planning skills.
• Social media experience ( IG, tiktok, facebook) with knowledge on analytics
• Knowledge of word press or willingness to learn
• Knowledge of PowerPoint, word, excel, and some other programs like canva or other artist poster programs.
• Event coordination experience

Some of your key education responsibilities include:

• Manage all aspects of event planning, coordination, and education preparation associated with the class structure.
• Assess logístical needs and determine necessary supplies and equipment needed for upcoming classes.
• Book travel arrangements for educators out of province.
• Propose new ideas to help improve the education and event planning/implementation process to further sales
• Nurture and maintain relationships with manufacturers and educators to craft innovative education ideas.
• Update WordPress website on upcoming education, add to ecommerce platform to enable stylists to register and pay for classes online.
• Prepare and implements advertising and promotion of education.
• Works within budget limits and manages invoices.

Some of your Key Marketing responsibilities include:

• Manage all Social Media outlets; Facebook, Google Business, Instagram, Tiktok

This includes but is not limited to writing, posting, and editing.

• Be able to engage and capture the attention of new and current salon professional followers.
• Respond to questions and comments in a timely and positive manner on all social platforms.
• Blog writing to keep our website uptodate and current, this includes keyword research to enhance website SEO

Excellent Commication in English is a requirement.
