Description
We are a leading Healthcare service provider in Ontario. We are presently looking for an Accounts Receivable specialist who will provide support in the Accounts Receivable Department.


This role requires an individual who is extremely organized and has high attention to detail, ensuring mínimal mistakes are made.

While some accounts receivable experience is important, a willingness to learn and take ownership on assigned tasks through completion is paramount.


The position requires a strong, proficient communicator within various company divisions so that deal level and operational efficiencies may be realized.


Schedule
Monday to Friday 8 hours (7-3, 8-4 or 9-5). In office only.


Duties

  • Ensure compliance with internal accounting controls and policies
  • Ensure daily credit and collections operations are running effectively
  • Monitor all account credit limits, holds and aging of receivables, communicate to the necessary parties when an account is over its set limit
  • Perform collection procedures on all past due and due invoices and identify problem accounts making prompt decisions for collection
  • Identify and facilitate the resolution of all customer disputes on a timely basis, working with internal departments
  • Record customer payments and transactions related to AR accounts
  • Send monthly updated invoicing and statements to customers and make sure that past due balances will be collected on time
  • Interact and maintain strong relationships with the other service team members

Requirements:


  • Minimum of three years of experience in Credit and Collection
  • College Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting or Finance
  • Strong working knowledge of credit principles and best practices
  • Strong problemsolving skills with good organizational, time management and prioritizing skill
  • Proven ability to work under pressure of deadlines
  • Excellent understanding of clerical and administrative procedures
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or and QBO

Job Types:

Salary:
$48,000.00-$52,000.00 per year
