We now offer a complete line of window washing equipment and fall protection systems that includes but is not limited to Roof Anchors, Davits, Horizontal Lifelines, Electrical and Mechanical Equipment such as Permanent Powered Platforms and Building Maintenance Units.
Responsibilities
- Drive to the job sites requiring service majority within the GTA
- Troubleshooting overhead mechanical/electrical controls, diagnose and repair
- Perform inspections, preventive maintenance and repair
- Diagnose and perform mechanical and electrical repairs
- Complete a detailed report after the inspection/load testing is completed
- Take pictures of the work completed and the job site conditions
- Perform a visual inspection and load testing as required
- Check accuracy of work to ensure all time is properly coded to projects
- Learn about code and regulatory requirements
- Must be willing to travel within Ontario, and possibly to the United States
- Primarily on the road, 90% on site, 10% in office
- Willingness to work overtime, oncall, and weekends as needed
- Other duties as assigned
Skills, Knowledge, Qualifications & Experience
- 3 years of construction experience is preferred
- PLC programming abilities are a must
- Electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills are required
- Working knowledge of construction equipment and techniques, drawings and specifications, building materials, and required standards applicable to discipline
- Knowledge of building construction, Ontario Building Code and the OHSA is an asset
- Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite
- Working at Heights Training
- Ability to assume responsibility and to interface and communicate effectively with others
- Effective English oral and written communication skills and ability to represent the company and project team in a professional manner to the Client, Architect, related staff and the community
- Have a vehicle and a valid Ontario Driver's License
- Must be legally eligible to work in Ontario

$46,868.00-$57,283.00 per year
