Analyst I, Finance is an excellent opportunity to grow your skills with the potential opportunity to grow further with Emerson Based in our
Calgary, AB Canada location, as a part of our Finance Team.

Reporting to the Finance Controller, you will carry out varied assignments requiring general familiarity with finance.

AS AN ANAYLST I, FINANCE, YOU WILL:

Reconciles GL accounts.
Contributes to the review of head office policies and procedures and ensures the Industry Center is in alignment with all requirements.
Reviews complex allocation errors and resolves discrepancies.
Assists all functional areas with processing and data maintenance.
Provides timely and accurate information to management.
Contributes to the development and consolidation of financial reports and data.
Participates in mentoring and reviewing coordinators' work.
Participates in training others and the development of training courses.
Participates in best practices and innovation.

REQUIRED Education, Experience & Skills

4year degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or equivalent
2+ years of experience in Finance
CPA designation (You must have completed the educational portion)
Excellent knowledge of Microsoft (Excel & PowerPoint)

PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:

Experience in Oracle ERP and HFM
Experience in project accounting
