Parts Technician - St. Paul, Canada - Xtreme Equipment

Description

• Ensure all customers are greeted with prompt and courteous service.
• Sell parts over the counter to customers as well as Service and Sales Departments.
• Answer phone, direct calls or take messages in a prompt courteous manner.
• Handle telephone and inperson parts orders.
• Open courier packages for parts department, confirm numbers, enter into inventory system and contact customer or service department.
• Contact customers when special orders are received.
• Ensures back ordered parts are monitored and keeps customer informed.
• Promote additional parts sales by suggesting related items, seasonal products, etc.
• Maintain current parts displays and keep showroom updated frequently.
• Works with the Sales & Service Managers to ensure a timely turnaround of parts needed for internal jobs, which includes monitoring backorder status.
• Ensure technicians and staff are adequately supplied with all parts, lubricants and materials as needed and all parts taken are entered on work order or charged to appropriate department.
• Assist unloading parts and wholegoods freight shipments and stock shelves as required
• Conduct regular parts inventories to ensure accurate onhand quantities.
• Makes certain that all returned or warranty parts are properly tagged so that the dealership recovers full credit from the manufacturer.
• Ensure you are ready for work 510 minutes prior to opening

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed
