Position Summary


The Cybersecurity Specialist (Risk Analyst) is a key player responsible for contributing to initiatives to identify, investigate, communicate, resolve, and improve information security risk in our IT investments.

You will collaborate and partner with technology teams including, Audit, PCI Compliance, and vendor management to help mitigate cybersecurity risks for the organization, including 3rd party risk, while helping teams support mitigation strategies to decrease the risk profile of the organization.


What you'll do:


Other responsibilities include:

  • Validate operating effectiveness of IT general controls
  • Followup on and validate vulnerability and penetration test remediation
  • Must be able to develop and maintain security documentation and standards
  • Plan and execute risk assessments including 3rd party risk
  • Use of various security tools for scanning, monitoring, and reporting on compliance of systems to security standards.
  • Providing technical knowledge of platforms
  • Windows, Unix, Linux, networking, databases, etc.
  • Support PII and PAN data scan remediation activities.

What you've done:


  • Security governance frameworks, cyber security policies and standards
  • Principles of independent security testing
  • Network and Security Appliances and Firewalls
  • IT risk and control frameworks, CobIT, NIST & ISO2700
  • Understand System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) process and agile methodologies
  • Strong documentation and communication skills to report to management and technical teams
CISSP, CISA, CISM and/or CRISC designations would be an asset
