    Your training and experience leading learning, and collaborating with partner groups will stand you in good stead as you guide and inspire others.

    As the successful candidate, you have exemplary organizational and planning skills, and have a thorough knowledge of BC elementary schools and early learning.

    You are an experienced rural educator, and a dynamic and reflective teacher. You demonstrate the ability to lead change and educational transformation by example. Your role requires that you have proven capabilities to meet the unique needs of a diverse school and community.

    • A Master's degree in an appropriate field, and school leadership experience, leading alongside staff and parents
    • Previous vice-principal experience, and experience in elementary learning environments
    • Excellent record of successful teaching experience
    • Superb abilities as an educator and leader of learning, grounded in current pedagogical practice
    • Proven skills and experience in educational leadership and educational transformation
    • A practice embedded in current pedagogical research; leadership implementing the BC curriculum and innovative assessment
    • An outstanding collaborator and team builder with emotional intelligence and conflict management expertise
    • Excellent working relationships with parents and community in support of student learning
    • Community-minded; eager to be involved in the whole school community; dedicated and focused
    • Proficient in technology to support teaching, learning, and administrative tasks, including MyEd BC
    • Highly effective communication and collaboration skills, and excellence in building relationships
