Cambridge:

The
Warehouse Receiver is responsible for approving products by confirming specifications; conducting visuals and communicating required adjustments to Warehouse Manager.


Responsibilities
-
Warehouse_

  • Unload inbound trucks and trailers in compliance with safe material handling procedures and stage the goods in the receiving lane as directed.
  • Responsible of receiving processing of inbound shipments, including sorting shipment to each product, quantity verification.
  • Quality inspect received product per PO & specs.
  • Repalletizing and complete putaway tasks of product on all levels of racking using appropriate powered material handling equipment (Forklift), RF scanning equipment.

Inspection_

  • Approve incoming fasteners by confirming specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests, and rejecting returning unacceptable material.
  • Communicate required adjustments to QC Manager confirming rework through the proper system.
  • Ensure products meet or exceed internal and customer requirements.
  • Perform inspections, reports, and archiving documentation and collect and file the required Quality Records.
  • Document inspection results by completing reports and logs, summarizing rework and waste, and inputting data into a quality database.
  • Assists the QC Manager in ensuring that products and processes are in continuous conformance with the company's quality & ISO policies, procedures, and standards.

Other Duties_

  • Answer and address product specification inquiries and complaints from internal colleagues.
  • Support the warehouse team with shipping, receiving, unloading trucks, and inventory putaway duties.
  • Compare Fasteners and procedures against documented design records, reviewing engineering drawings to identify discrepancies
  • Initiate preventative and corrective action processes when necessary.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year of warehouse experience as a receiver or similar positions.
  • Post secondary education in a relatedfield such as Mechanical Engineering
  • Previous experience with ISO process
  • Knowledge of using measuring tools, such as calipers, micrometers, depth gages and pin gages.
  • Attention to details
  • Ability to work independently with minimum supervision

$18.00-$22.00 per hour
