Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Transport Manager to join our team. As a Transport Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the transportation operations of our company. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and timely delivery of goods to our customers.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement transportation strategies to optimize efficiency and reduce costs
• Manage and coordinate the activities of the transportation team
• Oversee the procurement of transportation services from thirdparty logistics providers (3PL)
• Monitor and analyze transportation data to identify areas for improvement
• Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to ensure seamless coordination between transportation, warehousing, and other departments
• Implement and maintain a warehouse management system to track inventory and streamline operations
• Develop and manage transportation budgets
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and safety standards. IFTA etc.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement solutions
• Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders including suppliers, carriers, and customers

Skills:

• Strong knowledge of materials management principles and practices
• Proven experience in procurement and working with thirdparty logistics providers (3PL)
• Familiarity with warehouse distribution processes
• Ability to analyze data and make datadriven decisions
• Proficiency in using transportation management systems (TMS) or other relevant systems
• Excellent budgeting skills
• Strong problemsolving abilities with a focus on process improvement
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with crossfunctional teams
• Knowledge of freight regulations and safety standards

Salary:
$27.00-$45.00 per hour
