About H55
As the technological spin-off of Solar Impulse, the first electric airplane to fly around the world, the mission of H55, is to make aviation clean, safe, and affordable.
Having integrated and flown 4 electric airplanes, the Swiss start-up has been selected by Pratt & Whitney Canada to provide the battery pack for its regional hybrid-electric flight demonstrator.
About the role:
Primary responsibilities
Operations set-up:
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to design and deploy efficient workflows and procedures for the new manufacturing production line.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and safety protocols.
Operational Oversight & Team Leadership:
- Supervise daily manufacturing operations team to achieve production targets and quality standards
- Optimize production processes to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
- Implement and maintain inventory control systems to manage raw materials and finished goods.
- Collaborate and coordinate with local and international teams to ensure a seamless supply chain for raw materials, internal logistics and customer delivery
- Contribute to production team recruiting, training, and managing a skilled production team.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Provide leadership and guidance to ensure a motivated and highperforming team.
Quality:
- Implement and monitor quality control measures to ensure products meet or exceed industry standards.
- Implement and ensure Quality System compliance in daytoday activities
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to achieve highest product quality.
Your Profile:
- Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience (minimum 8 years) in operations management, quality and logistics within the aerospace manufacturing sector leading manufacturing teams with related regulations and safety protocols
- Demonstrated success in establishing and optimizing manufacturing facilities.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Familiarity with relevant manufacturing standards, regulations, and safety protocols.
- Excellent analytical, datadriven and problemsolving skills.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to liaise with crossfunctional teams and external stakeholders.
- Proven ability to thrive in a dynamic and fastpaced environment.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
- Bilingual French & English a must
- ERP experience and Microsoft Suite knowledge are a must.
