About the Role:

Currently, we are seeking a motivated and qualified individual to join our growing team as a
Surface Driller in Sudbury, ON.

The key responsibilities of the Surface Driller include but are not limited to:

Inspecting existing work locations according to work procedures and company policies within a safety conscious environment
Performing preoperational inspections and ensuring safe operation of drilling equipment
Coordinating the sequence of drilling activities for the site being assigned including survey and layout out of blast hole pattern, and drilling of blast holes to desired depth.
Executing Surface Drilling and Blasting Operations with mínimal Supervision from the Site Supervisor
Reporting any safety concerns or unsafe conditions

Qualifications

Fully accredited in Surface Mining Common Core Program (#
Minimum 5+ Years of Experience in the Surface Mining
Highly proficient in Surface Drilling Processes
Basic survey knowledge
Committed to maintaining a safe and efficient work environment
Valid Transportation of dangerous goods accreditation
Clean driver's abstract
Must be willing to work at any of Technica Mining's work sites
