Posting Title- CLK 09R - Registry Clerk- Position Classification- Clerk R9- Union- GEU- Work Options- On-Site- Location- Victoria, BC V9B 6X2 CA (Primary)- Salary Range- $50, $56,546.21 annually- Close Date- 5/26/2024- Job Type- Regular Full Time- Temporary End Date- Ministry/Organization- BC Public Service -> Attorney General- Ministry Branch / Division- Court Services Branch- Job SummaryCourt Services Branch is responsible for the delivery of all court administration services in BC.

These consist of registry, trial support and Sheriff Services for all levels of court.

The Registry provides infrastructure to support the justice system and processes documents that are required by the court to ensure timely and effective handling of court cases.

To provide administrative support in the processing of documentation required by the court system to accurately reflect court results. To maintain court files ensuring integrity of case data in the case tracking system. To provide informational service to all users of the court system.


Job Requirements:


  • Experience in accounting and/or handling financial transactions using a computerized cash system
  • Experience in Court Programs and Applications such as JUSTIN, CEIS, ARC, CTAS, and/or CCD
  • Experience delivering Customer Service
  • Minimum one (1) year experience working in an office environment OR an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered Experience or education in a related legal environmentProvisos
  • Union membership is required
  • Attendance and completion of relevant training is required
  • May be required to work flexible hours, including varied shifts and overtime on short notice
  • May be required to travel, including travel in adverse weather conditions and work in other geographical areas, including circuit court locations. Must have reliable transportation and/or be willing to travel with others

About this Position:

This position has full time on-site requirements.
An eligibility list may be established to fill future temporary and permanent vacancies.
Employees of the BC Public Service must be located in BC at the time of employment.
