Job Summary:

This Security Officer position monitors security of faculty, staff, and students as well as the facilities and equipment of the college. Duties include conducting security patrols, identifying and investigating suspicious or hazardous situations, reporting findings to the supervisor and documenting incidents. This position will monitor and operate computerized fire and security systems, write parking violations, provide escort services, and assist in training part-time security personnel. Primary duties include:Physical Demands:
Work Hours: Third shift, 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM. Days of the week may vary.
