Key Responsibilities:
Course Instruction:
- Introduce students to the world of computer science teaching introduction to computer science, practices, and principles in 3D modelling, 3d printing, virtual reality, augmented reality and 360 video.
- Develop and deliver lectures, assignments, and projects that meet course objectives for 1 week, 25 hours of course material hours on each programming language.
- Employ innovative teaching strategies to reach students of diverse learning styles.
Curriculum Development:
- Assist in the development and revision of our company's class syllabus and class outlines containing learning objectives and learning outcomes for the 24 hours of learning for the week.
- Maintain current knowledge of industry trends and advancements to ensure the curriculum aligns with the current demands of the field.
Student Mentorship:
- Provide academic guidance and support to students during office hours or by appointment.
- Supervise student projects, theses, and research activities.
- Foster an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
Requirements:
- MUST currently be a teacher, professor, or associate professor in the field of 3D modelling, 3d printing, virtual reality, augmented reality and 360 video at a post secondary institution in Canada.
- Demonstrated teaching experience in 3D modelling, 3d printing, virtual reality, augmented reality and 360 video
- Record of knowledge, degree and/or research in the field of 3D modelling, 3d printing, virtual reality, augmented reality and 360 video.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive and diverse academic environment.
- Experience in participating in a preuniversity program as asset but not required.
