is currently seeking a full time
Sales Assistant to our National Sales Manager at our Montreal, Quebec laboratory location - servicing our Quebec clientele.


This is a great opportunity to learn the keys to successful Client Management by providing various client advocacy and support services under the direct supervision of our National Sales Manager.


Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

This position will require a person that can learn quickly, deal with complex systems, and will require a long-term career building commitment.

The Sales Assistant position has great potential for a long term career growth path towards a Sales Representative position.

As a Sales Assistant, working under the direction of the National Sales Manager, you will do the following tasks:


  • Data Entry and maintenance of EMSL Marketing Database
  • Any/all other Client Advocacy support services to help ensure repeat buying
  • Send quotations to existing clients and provide rates for miscellaneous accounts
  • Setup accounts for new clients
  • Interpret marketing documents
  • Provide prospective client with quotations and other analytical information
  • Contact other labs/managers for additional analysis information and methods
  • Handle and/or resolve client complaints
  • Assist with invoice issues
  • Maintain product inventory; place restock orders
  • Produce and ship product orders
  • Resolve order issues and inventory problems
  • Update job knowledge by participating in educational trainings

Requirements:

HS Degree or equivalent required, College or University is an asset
1-3 years customer service (sales oriented)/administrative experience
Laboratory administrative experience a plus
Close attention to detail
Must be proficient in MS Office, additional software programs an asset
Excellent customer service skills
Willing and able to work in a fast-paced environment
Must be able to multi-task and prioritize work assignments
Must be able to take direction well and take initiative
Bilingual French and English must have excellent communication skills (written and verbal)


Hours:
Monday to Friday 8:30am - 5:30p.m.
