The job:
The Tire Repair Technician will repair, switch and replace tires and complete tire checks on all rolling equipment in a safe and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform all tire repairs, tire switches, tire replacements and tire checks on all rolling equipment.
- Maintain records of tires and track inventory.
- Complete all tire change tags.
- Brand tires with branch numbers.
- Complete daily tire checks on all rolling equipment by recording air pressure, searching for cuts, observing general condition of all tires and ensuring all wheel lugs are tight and wheels are straight.
- Conform in all respects with applicable federal, state/provincial and local laws, regulations, ordinances and other orders and to all company policies, procedures and directives from supervisors.
- Occasionally required to maintain attractive grounds by picking up and removing paper, trash and other debris and disposing of it properly.
- Maintain working knowledge of new technology through use of technical manuals, attendance of technical training seminars, etc.
- Attend safety and branch meetings.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one (1) to three (3) months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Possess a Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Must be able to meet relevant criteria for safety sensitive functions according to Company standards
- Ability to operate any equipment necessary to perform job.
- Ability to read and comprehend simple correspondence and instructions such as company policies and procedures.
