    Description

    Type of position: Regular

    An overview of your future role at BBA

    • Complete the entire pay cycle and provide client services.
    • Ensure time sheets are approved in a timely manner.
    • Process payroll every two weeks, ensuring data accuracy for the various provinces of employment across Canada.
    • Reconcile remittances to various levels of government or other agencies.
    • Ensure salary increases are paid and make retroactive payments, where necessary.
    • Follow up with group insurance and RRSP/DPSP premiums.
    • Help with year-end preparation and control activities.
    • Make journal entries.
    • Perform salary reconciliations and expense reports.
    • Help the Accounting team with month-end activities..

    Overview of certifications and job requirements

    • At least five years of experience in a payroll position
    • Excellent written communication (English and French)
    • Asset: Bilingual, both spoken and written
    • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite
    • Asset: knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics AX
    • Asset: Experience in high volume and multiprovincial payroll
