London Integrative Veterinary Services is seeking a Veterinarian to join our quickly growing integrative veterinary practice, which offers exceptional services in-hospital as well as a mobile house-call service for special needs patients and various cases.

We provide care for companion animals.

Our veterinary team practices an integrative approach which includes conventional medicine that has the option of being complemented with integrative practices.

We encourage a great deal of preventative care (various laboratory testing, customized nutrition programs, titre testing, and dentistry (to name a few).

We practice veterinary medicine with an integrative approach and use a well-rounded spectrum of methodologies to encompass the whole health of each individual patient.

Our practice is in high demand and constantly growing. We pride ourselves on making a real difference in pet health by using modern evidence
- based medicine to correct the underlying cause of illness.


Surgery, Dentistry, Natural treatments, Herbal treatments, nutrition, supplements, therapeutic laser, surgeries, pharmaceuticals, nutritional supplements, behavior modification, stress reduction, physical therapy, chiropractic care, acupuncture, ozone therapy, massage, exercise, socialization, immunizations, vaccine titers, and Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCVM).

We always begin with conventional medicine (essential in the workup of cases) with the option of integrative. No previous integrative training required and choice to practice conventionally only is an option. We are a team.

Flexible hours. No emergency work or after-hours (we have exclusive access to emergency care for our patients).


Responsibilities:


  • Creative approaches to patient care and client communication.
  • Provide individualized medical care and treatment to companion animals, including diagnosing illnesses, prescribing medications & supplements, and performing surgeries.
- accepting of integrative preventative health approaches (no previous training required but must be open to mentorship and/or CE opportunities in integrative care

  • Strongly advocate for preventative testing (inhouse updated IDEXX, titres, full spectrum panels, )
  • Educate pet owners on options available when dealing with nutrition and preventive healthcare measures (RVT Support)
  • Maintain accurate and detailed medical records for all patients.
  • Collaborate with veterinary technicians and other staff members to ensure the highest level of patient care. Strong communication skills
  • Full digital Xray (dental and full body), new anesthetic monitoring equiment, new dental unit, always open to staff input for new equipement additions.

Experience:


  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited veterinary school.
  • Valid license to practice veterinary medicine in Ontario.
  • Proven experience working as a veterinarian, preferably in a clinical setting however, new grads welcome
  • Strong work ethic and understanding of humananimal bond and it's impact on lives.
  • Proficient in performing surgical procedures on animals.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with pet owners and staff members.

Salary:
$90,000.00-$120,000.00 per year
