Job description:
- Loading, transporting, and delivering items such as construction materials and tools in a safe, timely manner.
- Load, unload, moving and handling construction materials (up to 150lbs)
- Delivery of materials for in town and out of town runs. Up to 500kms.
- Complete daily preinspections
- Successfully complete and maintain all daily electronic driver logs and other CVOR requirements
- Abide by Highway Traffic Act and all transportation laws
- Adhering to assigned route and following time schedules
- Comply with all Transportation of Dangerous Goods regulations
- Maintain a clean and organized company vehicle
- Abide by all safety policies, procedures, and regulations
- Operate and care for construction equipment and machines
- Operate a forklift lifting racking weighing up to 2500lbs
- Assist supervisor when necessary
- Cleaning shop obstacles and hazards
- Follow instruction from supervisors
- Ready to learn onthejob training when necessary
- General house cleaning organizing tools, equipment, garbage and debris from work areas, job sites as well as DEN vehicles and trailers
- Aid in minimizing wear & tear of any Designed Roofing Inc., Essential Exteriors & NGM equipment, vehicles, and trailers
Requirements:
- Valid DZ Driver's License
- High degree of safety awareness and commitment to safety, his/her own and other workers
- Ability to work and drivein allweather conditions
- Clean Driver's Abstract
- Climb a 16 foot ladder
- Must be dependable and punctual
- Ability to make delivery runs over night, if required
- Ability to do physical labour and other strenuous physical tasks
- High level of physical exertion is required
- Ability to lift lbs
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Criminal Record Check
- Level 2
