    Our client is Ireland's leading civil & structural engineering consultancy. You will be working with senior colleagues on the delivery of major structural projects. You will be responsible for the technical, managerial, and commercial aspects including:

    1. Client relationship management
    2. Implementing Company policy
    3. Planning and managing project resources
    4. Undertaking career planning and arranging for effective mentoring and training of employees
    5. Offering pro-active advice in relation to problem-solving issues
    6. Overseeing compliance with Company's Quality Management System
    7. Overseeing compliance with Health and Safety practices by those under your direction
    8. Managing client relationships and business development

    Requirements

    Requirements for this position include:

    • Honours degree in Civil/Structural Engineering
    • Minimum of 5 years postgraduate experience in engineering consultancy
    • Understanding of engineering principles and a strong technical focus
    • Design abilities to provide robust and economical solutions in concrete, steel, timber, masonry, etc.
    • Significant base of IT skills including:
    • Structural design software such as Tekla Structural Designer, SCIA, TEDDS suite, CADS suite, STRAP, etc.
    • REVIT + AutoCAD skills
    • Word, Excel, Power Point, MS Project
    • Understanding of Irish regulatory and policy issues
    • The ability to work closely in partnership with clients, contractors, and other members of design teams
    • Strong communication skills both oral and written
    • A positive, proactive approach with an ability to adapt to changing scenarios
    • Business Effectiveness – lead by example
    • Commitment to achieving chartership
