Purpose:
Education:
Community college diploma in a related field such as business administration or an equivalent of two years recent experience (defined as within the last three years) working at York University and performing the same or similar tasks.
Experience:
Requires 1 to 2 years of experience in research administration to adequately support the SIRI unit in the development of large-scale/strategic/award opportunities.
Skills:
Good verbal and written communications to prepare a variety of documents and to exchange information with internal and external partners
Good organizational skills required to meet competing work demands and deadlines
Must be proficient with a computer and possess good keyboarding skills for data entry and document preparation
Attention to detail and accuracy
Intermediate level of Microsoft Office and Outlook
Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment
