Available Job Types:

Parttime (2025hrs/week)

Salary:
$ $19.00 per hour

Budtender Responsibilities:

Checking customers' identification documents to verify that they are of legal age.
Educating customers on the safe use of their selected cannabis products.
Advising customers on suitable cannabis products based on their needs, preferences, budgets, and reactions to different strains of cannabis.
Staying up to date with new cannabis products on the market as well as the latest industry trends to better advise the customers.
Provide an exceptional customer experience.
Processing customers' payment transaction using the dispensary's Point of Sale (POS) system.
Ensuring that the shop floor is always clean and wellorganized.
Product display setup and restocking after sale.
Maintain a clean and organized stockroom.
Maintain a clean and organized store front.
Assisting in Inventory count.
Support, guide and answer questions throughout customers journey in store and over the phone.
Process transactions and orders.
Complete tasks as assigned by store managers.

Knowledge of cannabis strains and effects (is considered an asset)
Knowledge of accessories and consumption methods (is considered an asset).
Retail or service experience (prior cannabis industry experience is considered an asset)

Requirements:

Flexible availability required to work nights, weekends, holidays and peak summer season.
3 recent references.
Estimated start date of work: As soon as possible or within 2 weeks of hire date.

Experience:

Customer service: 1 year (preferred)

Cannabis Industry: 1 year (preferred)

Previous Budtender, and or Sales experience in a retail environment considered an asset.

Legal Requirements:
(must be obtained and valid prior to start date)

Must be 19+ as per Ontario law
