Pharmacy Assistant - Trenton, Canada - Trent Drug Mart

Description

The Pharmacy Assistant will report to the pharmacy manager and will be in direction of the Pharmacist on duty.

• Preparation, packaging, and distribution of patient prescriptions as per Pharmacist direction.
• Kroll system must be updated with patient information; inputs all prescriptions, labels and consent forms.
• Evaluate legalities.
• Complete documentations such as third party management and reconciliation, filling prescriptions, printing, invoices, etc.
• Monitor expiry dates of medication and Inventory control and audit.
• Assisting with cashier responsibilities as required
• Polite and friendly and communicates well.
• Willingness to work weeknights and weekends if required.

- performs other duties as assigned by the Pharmacy Manager or Pharmacist on-duty

• Follows Government regulations and health and food safety regulations.
• Nursing experience is an advantage.

Salary:
$18.00-$23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
