Description
Our Abbotsford location is looking for someone to organize our warehouse, deal with shipping & receiving and customer service. This role is permanent, full-time Monday - Friday and pays $20 - $22 to start depending on experience.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • SDCB forklift operation
  • Organize and maintain the warehouse for ease of picking orders.
  • Daily Truck scheduling
  • Warehouse and yard cleanliness
  • Loading and unloading of trucks and ensure associated paperwork is correct.
  • Verifying and signing off on all outgoing and incoming deliveries. Trucks do not leave the yard until a shipper clearly signs off on the paperwork. Copy goes to site for customer signature.
  • Prepares all shipping documents for computer entry. Missing or changed items are clearly identified.
  • Supervises all materials are stored neatly and put away in their proper locations.
  • Assists in materials ordering. (inventory maintenance)

Qualifications (both required and that are an asset)

  • Computer literate
  • Organized
  • Strong sense of time and urgency
  • Able to work in a team or independently.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Forklift certification
    required though we can recertify.

  • Outdoors in all weather and Warehouse environment
  • Can be labour intensive.

  • Often changing demands
  • Multitasking; can be stressful.

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Salary:
$20.00-$22.00 per hour
