Flair Airlines is currently seeking a permanent, full-time
AMOS Adoption Manager to join our growing and ever-changing organization.

Reporting to the Director, Engineering, the AMOS Adoption Manager will be responsible for the full integration, administration, execution, and ongoing maintenance of all Aircraft and Maintenance Engineering System (AMOS) modules.

The Manager will also be required to provide functionalities workflows, and/or business procedures, methods, techniques, systems, and approaches of respective sections, in agreement with standards and project requirements.

The AMOS Adoption Manager will facilitate with other department managers in maintaining SOPs relating to AMOS, in the Engineering and Maintenance Department.


Primary Job Functions:


The duties of the
AMOS Adoption Manager include:


  • Undertaking, coordinating, identifying, scheduling, conducting, and initiating AMOS business processes as required
  • Monitoring the development of AMOS business processes actively and progressively, by gathering business requirements, and developing improved use of AMOS functionality with the area business managers
  • Ensure constant improvement and functional integrity of developed business processes on the engineering maintenance/operational task processes/requirements to meet industry best practice standards
  • Coordinating in a timely manner, or as and when required, with the AMOS software provider (SWISS-AS) in relation to business processes, if the case(s) cannot be resolved internally or is beyond the individual's expertise
  • Supporting management on any AMOS project implementation, and preplanned project activities as an AMOS business advisor as and when needed
  • Evaluating, reporting, escalating, and coordinating any problematic AMOS business processes to management should there be a need for advice and assistance
  • Providing guidance and sharing expert knowledge with maintenance team members regarding AMOS operational requirements, and business processes/policies as and when required
  • Assist with Process Mapping current business processes against AMOS best practices and make recommendations for improvement to the business area owner(s)
  • Sourcing, identifying, and coordinating AMOS functional training from the system/software provider(s) in coordination with the Training & Development department
  • Liaising with other airline AMOS users to share knowledge and gain industry experience
  • Provide onthejob AMOS training to maintenance personnel as required
  • Actively seek to increase the use of AMOS for business efficiency and effectiveness
  • Reviewing, preparing, and updating AMOS Section Procedures and Manuals, as and when required
  • Perform additional duties for the benefit of Flair Airlines organization.
  • Actively participate in Flair's SMS program

Qualifications and Education Requirements:


  • Extensive AMOS (Swiss-AS) software knowhow, sound analytical and technical writing skills
  • Has at least five (5) years of airline maintenance experience including the management of documents and maintenance programs in AMOS
  • Strong administrative, project management, and selfstarting skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; including interpersonal communication
  • Demonstrated problemsolving, attention to detail, accuracy, and time management skills
  • Ability to prioritize multiple demands in a fastpaced environment
  • Intermediate level of skill using Microsoft Office Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Able to work effectively independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to work in a highstress, everchanging work environment while managing multiple projects and prioritizing tasks and assignments
  • Good understanding of, and passion for continuous improvement concepts.
  • Must be legally eligible to work in Canada without restrictions
  • A clear criminal record check
