About us

We are an obstetrics and gynecology office in South Surrey/White Rock seeking a highly motivated, reliable medical office assistant with strong attention to detail.

You will be joining a team of professionals dedicated to providing excellent patient care.

You will be responsible for communicating with patients, scheduling appointments and procedures, answering phones, turning over rooms, sterilizing medical equipment, ordering supplies, and updating electronic medical records.

Requirements:

• Completion of Medical Office Assistant training program or direct experience working as a Medical Office Assistant
• Commitment to patientcentred care
• Ability to work efficiently in a fastpaced environment
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Teamoriented, positive attitude
• Knowledge of basic medical terminology
• Knowledge of Electronic Medical Record systems is an asset, particularly Accuro
• Resourcefulness in solving problems
• Training on specific office processes like instrument processing will be provided

Hours: 24-32 hours/week, scheduled Monday through Friday from 8:00-16:00, with days of the week varying depending on clinic/hospital schedule. No weekends/evenings.


Location:
Current clinic located at Grandview Business Centre in South Surrey. In early 2023, we will be moving to a brand-new clinic next to Peace Arch Hospital in White Rock.

Part-time hours: 24-32 per week


Salary:
$22.00-$25.00 per hour
