Job Summary

Westmount Signs & Printing is a recognized local leader in the sign and printing industry in Waterloo Region and surrounding areas.

We custom manufacture and install a wide variety of signs and also provide digital printing services. We are a big supporter of the community and contribute to making Waterloo Region a great place to live. Due to high demand for our products and services we are looking for talented people to join our team.

If you have a mechanical aptitude and can operate neon equipment and metallic hand tools you could also be a perfect fit.

Required Skills:

• High school diploma or higher degree in the related field (Design/Manufacturing)
• 5+ years of experience in lettering and design using Neon
• Experience working with neonspecific best practices including: neon bending, designing, vacuum and gas filling, installation of signs (interior and exterior), design and manufacture of channel letters
• Exceptional graphic design skills: advanced knowledge of Adobe Suit and Corel Draw is an asset
• Experience working with metal best practices including: handling, cutting, polishing, welding, painting and assembling metallic structures
• Familiarity with industry tools such as: plotters, routers, circular saws, drills, oscillating tools, angle grinder slides and scaffolding is an asset
• Familiarity with photography and photo editing
• Confident working independently and within a team
• High level of attention to detail
• Excellent communication (English speaking is a requirement)

The hours are 9:00-5:00 Monday to Friday.

Full benefits available after a 3 month probationary period. Wage will be determined based on your experience and skill set.


Pay:
$15.50-$25.19 per hour
