UDI Cable Services is a leading telecommunication contracting company based in Ottawa specializing in utility construction serving eastern Ontario.

For over 20 years, UDI Cable Services has established a reputation for delivering outstanding service and performance to our clients.

As our company expands, we are looking to fill a position for a General Labourer.

Applicants being considered will posses the following skills and abilities:

Valid G Driver's License (or equivalent) with a clean Drivers Abstract held for at least 3 years.
Ability to lift 50+ pounds
Ability to read and write in English
Comfortable working in confined spaces and in and around heavy equipment
Ability to work both indoors and outdoors
Work well within a team environment and selfmotivated enough to perform on their own
Ability to coordinate, direct and supervise construction projects with one or more crews
Be reliable and hard working

The following experience will be considered an asset:

Experience working with Mini-Excavator, Backhoe, and other heavy equipment
Experience in landscaping, interlock, paving and concrete
Able to read blueprints and/or construction plans
Experience in telecommunication construction
