We are seeking a Procurement Student, for our BC Region district (Kelowna Office), within our Canadian Buildings Division that are available for 4 months starting in May 2024.

This position will be under the direct supervisor of the Manager, Procurement & Equipment.

Here's how a Procurement Student for our BC Region office contributes to our team:

Responsibilities:

Identifying and selecting vendors to purchase requisitioned commodities, meeting criteria such as price, quantity, quality, safety, and delivery date.
Expediting orders.
Shipping and receiving.
Stacking, counting and placing goods in accordance with the warehouse organizational plan.
Maintaining inventory levels and records.
Preparing procurement reports and documentation as required.
Providing equipment administration support.
Practicing PCL safety practices.
Assisting in all aspects, as is reasonably available, of procurement & equipment management activities.

Qualifications:

Currently enrolled in a Supply Chain Management specialization in a postsecondary institution.
Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
Maintains a positive working relationship with clients.
Ability to perform multiple projects effectively in a fastpaced, resultsoriented environment.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Pay Range:
$19 - $24

PCL Student wages are determined individually for each student based on the number of completed school terms, relevant work terms, kind of role and work location.
