Description

Reporting to the Operations Manager, The Production Manager is responsible for the day-to-day management of the Factory and the training of all production employees.

Production Manager must be available to work day or evening shift (with premium) as required for extended periods of time.

Regular work hours are Monday to Friday, 7 am to 3:30 pm plus overtime as needed, when required.

Competencies/Requirements:

High School Diploma
High degree of organizational skills
Professional level written and verbal communication skills in English
Fork lift certification in house
Class 5 driver's license
Experience in a truss factory or construction would be an asset

Knowledge:

Continuous Improvement background
Supervision of employees
Operation of computers (re saws and tables)
Proficiency in Excel, Word and Outlook
Planning and scheduling
Operation and minor maintenance and repair of all Factory machinery and equipment
Administrative processes and procedures
Excellent communication skills
Written and verbal communication skills in Punjabi, an asset
Technical training of others
